Dr. Jafarnia, who also serves as Director of Sports Medicine on the Post Oak Little League (POLL) board of directors, participated in a “Throwing Mechanics & Injury Prevention” seminar this past Thursday evening at the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute – Memorial City. Attendees heard from Dr. Allen Deutsch, who is also an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the hand and upper extremity at UT Physicians, and from members of the University of Houston’s baseball coaching staff; Terry Rooney, pitching coach, and Ryan Shotzberger, assistant coach.
