Dr. Jafarnia joined colleagues in a Doctors Demystify segment discussing hand and upper tendons and muscle anatomy, function, common conditions and treatments for occupational therapists (OTs) and physical therapists (PTs). The combination video and Zoom lecture series is comprised of hand surgeon and therapist educators and opinion leaders.
Doctors Demystify is a continuing education effort established by Dr. Roy Meals in 1990 to expand the understanding of the hand among hand surgery fellows and therapists. The once small in-office group quickly grew in popularity and has today with the advance of digital technology grown into “a broad spectrum of easily accessible, modestly priced, high-quality live courses” to advance understanding of the hand and upper extremity.
