Dr. Jafarnia joins the 2020 Texas Bowl Board of Directors and its efforts to improve community and outcomes for the many children helped by the Depelchin Children’s Center.
The Depelchin Children’s Center, which is the designated charitable beneficiary of the Texas Bowl, is in need of support more than ever amid the COVID-19 pandemic and community upheaval it has caused. The Texas Bowl board and community organizers are eager to kick off the season September 6, when Baylor and Ole Miss take the field. The 2020 Texas Bowl is currently scheduled for December.
Dr. Jafarnia will also be participating again this year in the Gridiron Legends Golf Tournament, one of nine Texas Bowl community initiatives.
